Songwriting Legend for Arts Festival

Richard Thompson has been around for FIVE decades and still remains quite the secret. He is (in my opinion) one of England's best kept songwriting treasures.

He performs at the Galway Arts Festival. Here's an article on it...

At 17 years old, Thompson became a founding member of seminal British folk band Fairport Convention. The band developed a personal and British based folk style, including stunning arrangements of traditional songs and ballads.
